WELCOME TO BBQ MAGAZINE ONLINE!

We are located on the Central Coast of California (Pismo Beach).  We are 15 miles to the north of world famous Santa Maria (Santa Maria Style BBQ).  We also boast the home of Tri Tip.  The purpose of our site is to bring together BBQ recipes from around the world and share them for free with everyone.  We usually BBQ 4 or 5 times a week and are experimenting with different woods and recipes.  Please create a free account and enter your favorite BBQ sauce, recipe, rub, side dish, or just whatever you think would be a helpful part of our site.  If you enter a recipe I promise I will try it and let you know how it turned out. Ingredients:

  • 4 Sticks real butter
  • 1 Cup cider vinegar
  • 1 Cup catsup
  • 1 Jar prepared horseradish
  • 6 Lemons or limes (juiced)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Hot pepper sauce of your choice

Directions:

  • In a saucepan melt butter
  • slowly add vinegar, catsup, horseradish, lime or lemon juice, salt, hot pepper sauce and worcestershire sauce
  • Simmer uncovered for 10 - 15 minutes

Use as a basting sauce for chicken, pork or other meats.
leftover sauce can be refrigerated for up to 1 week.
Note: If using this sauce for chicken lemons are best, if using the sauce for pork or other meats lime work well.
