WELCOME TO BBQ MAGAZINE ONLINE!

We are located on the Central Coast of California (Pismo Beach).  We are 15 miles to the north of world famous Santa Maria (Santa Maria Style BBQ).  We also boast the home of Tri Tip.  The purpose of our site is to bring together BBQ recipes from around the world and share them for free with everyone.  We usually BBQ 4 or 5 times a week and are experimenting with different woods and recipes.  Please create a free account and enter your favorite BBQ sauce, recipe, rub, side dish, or just whatever you think would be a helpful part of our site.  If you enter a recipe I promise I will try it and let you know how it turned out. Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups catsup
  • 1 Cup cider vinegar
  • 2/3 cup high quality olive oil
  • 1/3 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp prepared yellow mustard
  • 3 cloves diced fresh garlic
  • 1 Lemon halfed

Directions:

  • In a saucepan combine catsup, vinegar, olive oil, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard and garlic
  • Squeeze lemon juice into sauce and add 12 of the lemon halfs
  • Heat slowly about 10 minutes.
  • Sauce does not have to reach a boil

Use as a basting sauce for pork, ham or ribs.  Serve extra sauce as a table sauce.
