WELCOME TO BBQ MAGAZINE ONLINE!

We are located on the Central Coast of California (Pismo Beach).  We are 15 miles to the north of world famous Santa Maria (Santa Maria Style BBQ).  We also boast the home of Tri Tip.  The purpose of our site is to bring together BBQ recipes from around the world and share them for free with everyone.  We usually BBQ 4 or 5 times a week and are experimenting with different woods and recipes.  Please create a free account and enter your favorite BBQ sauce, recipe, rub, side dish, or just whatever you think would be a helpful part of our site.  If you enter a recipe I promise I will try it and let you know how it turned out. Josh's Italian Stuffed Pork Chops Print E-mail

JoshIngredients:

  • Four thick cut pork chops (1"-2" thick)
  • 1/4 lb. Prosciutto
  • 1/4 lb. Hot Capacolla
  • 1/4 lb. Provolone Cheese
  • Fresh Basil Leaves
  • Sage Leaves 
  • Prepared Mustard 
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Toothpicks

Directions:

  • Slice pork chops almost in half but leave enough meat to hold the chop together for stuffing.
  • Spread a thin layer of mustard on the inside of each chop.
  • Layer the inside of the pork chop starting with basil, Prosciutto, Capacolla, Provolone, and basil.
  • Use toothpicks to seal the edge and keep the good stuff inside. 
  • Salt and pepper the outdies of the chops and place a sage leave on the top.
  • Carefully place them on the BBQ and cook for about 30 minutes each side.
  • Be careful when you turn them over so the filling stays inside.
