WELCOME TO BBQ MAGAZINE ONLINE!

We are located on the Central Coast of California (Pismo Beach).  We are 15 miles to the north of world famous Santa Maria (Santa Maria Style BBQ).  We also boast the home of Tri Tip.  The purpose of our site is to bring together BBQ recipes from around the world and share them for free with everyone.  We usually BBQ 4 or 5 times a week and are experimenting with different woods and recipes.  Please create a free account and enter your favorite BBQ sauce, recipe, rub, side dish, or just whatever you think would be a helpful part of our site.  If you enter a recipe I promise I will try it and let you know how it turned out. Ingredients:

  • 1 9" Unbaked Pie Crust 
  • 1 Cup White Corn Syrup
  • 1 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/3 Cup Melted Butter (no margarine)
  • 1 Tsp Real Vanilla
  • 3 Whole Eggs (chicken)
  • 1 Heaping Cup Chopped Pecans

Directions:

  • Pre-heat oven to 350
  • Combine corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, butter and vanilla and mix well.
  • Slightly beat eggs.
  • Combine the egg mixture with the sugars and mix well.
  • Pour in to the pie crust.
  • Sprikle pecans over the top evenly.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Let cool and slice.
