WELCOME TO BBQ MAGAZINE ONLINE!

We are located on the Central Coast of California (Pismo Beach).  We are 15 miles to the north of world famous Santa Maria (Santa Maria Style BBQ).  We also boast the home of Tri Tip.  The purpose of our site is to bring together BBQ recipes from around the world and share them for free with everyone.  We usually BBQ 4 or 5 times a week and are experimenting with different woods and recipes.  Please create a free account and enter your favorite BBQ sauce, recipe, rub, side dish, or just whatever you think would be a helpful part of our site.  If you enter a recipe I promise I will try it and let you know how it turned out. Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Fresh jalapeno chiles, seeded
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 Tsp paprika
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 1/2 Tsp ground bay leaves
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 Tsp chopped fresh oregano

Directions:

  • Put all the ingredients, except all the herbs in a food processor or blender and process until smooth.  Stir in the fresh herbs.
  • Pour marinade over the prepared meat or poultry and turn to coat.
  • Cover and refrigerate up to 6 hours before cooking.

Makes enough for about 1 lb 2 oz of meat or poultry
