WELCOME TO BBQ MAGAZINE ONLINE!

We are located on the Central Coast of California (Pismo Beach).  We are 15 miles to the north of world famous Santa Maria (Santa Maria Style BBQ).  We also boast the home of Tri Tip.  The purpose of our site is to bring together BBQ recipes from around the world and share them for free with everyone.  We usually BBQ 4 or 5 times a week and are experimenting with different woods and recipes.  Please create a free account and enter your favorite BBQ sauce, recipe, rub, side dish, or just whatever you think would be a helpful part of our site.  If you enter a recipe I promise I will try it and let you know how it turned out. Ingredients:

  • 6 Fresh Red Chilies
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 1/3 Cup High Quality Olive Oil (EVOO)
  • 4 TBSP Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 TSP Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 TBSP Paprika
  • 1/2 TSP Salt

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F/180 degrees C
  • Spread the chiles out on a cookie sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 10 minutes
  • Let cool, cut off the stems, then transfer to a food processor or blender.  Add all the remaining ingredients and process until smooth and combined.
  • Score the meat, poultry, or fish portions deeply with a sharp knife.  Put the prepared meat, poultry, fish, or seafood in a shallow nonmetallic dish or plastic food bag.
  • Pour the marinade over the prepared meat, poultry, fish, or seafood and turn to coat.
  • Cover tightly or seal and let marinate in the refrigerator, turning occasionally, for at least 1 hour or up to 6 hours before cooking.

Makes enough for about 1 lb 2 oz of meat, poultry, fish or seafood
