I made this for our friend Carrie who prefers fish over red meat.  It came out so good I had to post it.

Ingredients:

  • Ahi Tuna Steaks (fresh as possible)
  • 8 oz. Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 -3 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Lemon
  • Diced chives
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste (I used sea salt and fresh ground pepper)
  • Aluminum Foil

Directions:

  • Make a foil boat big enough for the Ahi Tuna steaks.
  • Evenly coat bottom of foil boat with olive oil and heat until hot.
  • Salt and pepper one side of the tuna steak.
  • Squueze lemon juice over steaks.
  • Fry the seasoned side in the hot oil (just enough for a good color)
  • Remove from heat and drain off excess olive oil.
  • Mix heavy whipping cream and Dijon mustard until well blended.
  • Pour cream mixture over steaks in the foil boat.
  • Place back on grill and cook until the cream mixture is boiling and has a good color.
  • Sprikle with fresh diced chives and serve.

This is so good you will make it 2 or 3 nights in a row.

Enjoy!
